Irony at it’s best

Just when I tell the world I want to post every day, I have nothing to say. Sorry, all. I’ll post when I have something good to blog about.

Breakfast:
1 hard boiled egg
1/2 Jessica Seinfeld sweet potato pancake
2 C coffee w/ ~2 T half & half, cinnamon and splendaSnack:
bananaLunch:
1C chiliSnack:
1 serving chipsDinner:
1.5 chicken sausage and winter veggies (onion, squash, sweet potato and potato)
1 red wineWEDNESDAY

3/4 pearLunch:
1 C leftover wheat spaghetti w/ turkey and veggie sauceSnack:
1 oz. turkeyDinner:
Jessica Seinfeild’s Chicken Nuggets w/ broccoli puree. I used 2 egg yolks instead of one large egg, and I skipped the oil and baked the nuggets on foil at 420 for 20 min.Snack:
1 container LF pear yogurt w/ 1 banana, cinnamon and ~1oz. walnuts

So what do you think about Jessica Seinfeld’s cookbook? I looked at the chicken nugget recipe . . . I will try that for the boys!

I don’t have the cookbook yet; it’s on backorder. We all loved the chicken nuggets, though AND I got my daughter to try actual broccoli! She ate and liked the first bite, and spit out the second, but that’s a milestone in our house!
